Position: Distribution Planning Engineers

Qty : 15

Qualification :

·  Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Reputed University with Minimum 8-10 years experience in Electrical Utility/ Consultancy/ Power Distribution.·  Past Experience as System Analysis in any utility·  Previous GCC experience in any utility is an added advantage

Duties:

·  Carry out Network Study works in KAHRAMAA Electricity Network and make provisions for power supply for each and every building permit applications·  Carryout detailed substation wise study of the existing distribution network and make necessary reinforcement proposal.·  To carry out field study and to make proposal for Underground cable and overhead line networks in coordination with other departments.·  Prepare proposals for the relocations of distribution substations existing in the Middle of the roads in coordination with ASHGAL, and other authorities·  Distribution Network loss study·  Capacitor Bank placement issues and studies·  Must be knowledge in Computer and English Language

Position: MATERIAL, STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATION Engineers
Qty : 10

Qualification :

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Reputed University with Minimum 8-10 years experience in Electrical Utility/ Consultancy/ Power Distribution/ Standards and Specification

Duties :

·  Technical Evaluation of tenders for Supplying Material, Manpower, as Sevice Tenders

·  Prequalification evaluation of Manufacturers of material as per the latest specification and standards considering the quality of product and factory

·  Preliminary inspection and Re- Inspection of materials delivered which are under the Material supply tenders by the vendors

·  Verifying the Quality Assurance manuals and process, procedures of Manufacturers to ensure the Quality of material.

·  Must have knowledge in Computer and English

Position: Transmission Planning Engineers
Qty : 5

Qualification :

·  Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Reputed University with Minimum 8-10 years experience in Electrical Utility/ Consultancy/ Transmission Network Planning

·  Past Experience as System Analysis in any utility

·  Previous GCC experience in any utility is an added advantage

Duties :

·  Update and maintain Transmission Network Database

·  Review Cable diversions due to Ongoing projects with other customers in Qatar

·  Provide support in developing BCRs (Bulk Customer Requirements) and related documents for SLDs, Right of Way, liaison with other authorities for the same.

·  Perform techno- commercial reviews, studies on feeder arrangements, cost engineering studies and cost estimations

·  Perform any other related duties and coordination with other departments as required

·  Must have knowledge in Computer and English, any planning software knowledge

Position: Distribution Design and Development Engineers
Qty : 15

Qualification :

·  Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from Reputed University with Minimum 8-10 years experience in Electrical Utility/ Consultancy/ Distribution Network planning and Design.

·  Past Experience as System Analysis in any utility

·  Previous GCC experience in any utility is an added advantage

Duties :

·  Plan, design and develop power supply schemes to feed Domestic, Commercial, Light and Heavy Industrial customers, Land Infrastructure subdivisions, road works and other big utility projects.

·  To support in preparation of Load flow studies, short circuit studies, and developing reinforcement schemes based on study results.

·  Advice Distribution planning engineers regarding the connection of NEW loads and scheme design

·  Coordination with the services department to study new developments and divisions.

·  Bulk Customers (Above 5 MW ) , BP processing and supply scheme preparation

·  To liaise with the Road department, services department, planning department, land department for Substations etc

·  Must have knowledge in Computer and English,

Position: Technical Assistant 
Qty : 20

Qualification :

·  Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Reputed institute with Minimum 5-7 years experience in Electrical Utility/ Consultancy/ Maintenance Distribution Network·  Past Experience with Electrical Contractor or Consultant ·  Previous GCC experience in any utility is an added advantage

Duties :

·  Archiving, scanning, filing letters of contractors, consultants submittals and all communications  and arrange this as per ISO standard and specs·  Handle and manage large volume of Hard and Soft copy documentation in the section for easy retrieval and reference.·  Maintain records of Site fotographs, drawings, inspection reports etc·  Communicate and arrange meetings with various departments in Kahramaa·  Email communication with Kahramaa departments and other parties·  Follow up of the required drawings and documents·  Minutes of meeting and Circulation to the concerned members·  Drafting of letters as required and any other job related to the position as directed by the supervisor·  Must have knowledge in Computer and English

Position: DRAFTSMAN   
Qty : 10

Qualification :

·  Higher Diploma in Engineering from Reputed institute with Minimum 3 years experience in Drafting and familiar with GIS, Certificate course in AutoCad and Arc GIS.

·  Past Experience with Electrical Contractor or Consultant

·  Previous GCC experience in any utility is an added advantage

Duties :

·  To digitize the Electricity Network data in Auto CAD using the inhouse tools

·  To draw the schemes on different paper sizes and print them

·  To draw schematic drawings of LV/HV and update them on regular basis in database

·  To add the attribute data of the network entities using in House tools

·  To perform any other related duties as directed by the supervisor.
