Section Head Development Geologist Location Khartoum Main Scope - Leads & coordinates activities of petroleum development staff Prepares development well proposals for drilling/ logging development, field development plans, budgets/ cost control reports, and technical and geological mapping reports for discoveries. - Coaches and develops Junior Geo-scientists. Minimum Requirements - B. Sc. in Geology. - Minimum 12 years experience in oil company. - Experience in Geo-frame/ Petrel software. - Fluency in English. 2. Senior Completion/ Work over Engineer Location Khartoum Main Scope - Prepares/ manages completions and work over programs. - Manages/ schedules utilization of service rigs and gives guidance and instructions on jobs at site. - Reviews jobs documents. Coaches and develops completion/ work over junior engineers. - Prepares final Test and Completion Reports and archives all completion/ work over data. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in petroleum engineering. - Minimum 9 years experience in oil company. - Experience in PC arid technical software. - Fluency in English. 3. Senior Development Geologist Location Khartoum Main Scope - Follows up on daily development geology field operations through preparing plans and reviewing all technical activities of the development department at office and well site. - Performs technical studies/ evaluation/ mapping of discoveries/ fields, and prepares the final Development Well Report. - Enhances reservoir performance by conducting reservoir characterization studies. - Coordinates the archiving of Development/ Geology Section Data and Samples. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Geology. - Minimum 9 years experience in oil company. - Experience in Geo-frame/ Petrel software. - Fluency in English. 4. Senior Reservoir Engineer Location Khartoum Scope of Work - Recommends updates to simulation models, and runs material balance analysis and provides production reports on well production and prepares production forecasts. - Proposes development plans, and identifies and implements opportunities to enhance production and reduce operation cost. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in petroleum reservoir engineering. - Minimum 9 years of experience in oil company. - Skilled in utilizing PC software. - Fluency in English. 5. Drilling Engineers Location Field Scope of Work - Supports the Drilling Supervisor on the rig. Coordinates the logistics of delivering drilling material to the rig site. - Performs tasks assigned by the Drilling Supervisor and assists in urgent drilling/ testing activities as may be directed by the Operation. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. Engineering. - Minimum 7 years experience in oil company and drilling. - Skilled in utilizing PC software. - Fluency in English. 6. Work Station System Engineer Location Khartoum Scope of work - Supervises, plans, prepares, implements and maintains all requirements of the exploration and production division ‘s information technology requirement. - Supervises the installation and maintenance of all Work Station software. - Performs routine engineering tasks on the workstations and software. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in Engineering, Electronics/ Computer Science or equivalent. - Minimum 10 years experience in Work Station Systems. - Fluency in English. 7. Section Head Planning and Budget Control Location Khartoum Scope of Work - Manages the Cash Call/ Cash Forecasting process to ensure that Project funding is adequate and that surplus cash is held at optimum levels. - Prepares Joint Interest Billing Statements that satisfactorily pass audit scrutiny in a timely manner. - Safeguards StarOil’s cost recovery position through enforcing EPSA compliance. - Ensures the completeness and accuracy of Balance Sheet reconciliations. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc Accounting, or B A. - Minimum 12 Years’ accounting/ finance experience in oil company. - Knowledge of Sun System functionality preferred. - Fluency in English. 8. Section Head Financial Reporting Scope of Work - Prepare and Ensure financial reporting is done as required and to comply with business standards and procedures. - Maintain updated record of performance (work and expenditure). - Coordinate with other relevant section to ensure proper reporting. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Accounting/ Economics. - Minimum 12 Years’ accounting/ finance in oil company. - Knowledge of Sun System functionality preferred. 9. Senior Contract Specialist Location Khartoum Scope of Work - Ensures proforma contracts are aligned with lTBs. - Maintains the contract database to represent the actual status of contracts including contract expenditures. - Coordinates with Procurement on the tender/ procurement process by providing standard terms and conditions of contracts/ POs relevant to the services or goods being tendered or singled sourced and evaluating the contractual exceptions to assess acceptability of risk. - Ensures that contracts are renewed and prices amended, and compliant with JCC/ JMC working procedures and aligned with corporate processes and policies. Minimum Requirements - A university degree in Business Administration, Law or Engineering. - Minimum 10 years of experience in oil company. - Excellent verbal and written English language skills. 10. Senior Accountant Location Khartoum Scope of Work - Keep accounting files current and updated, Coordinate with Departments to issue AFEs, in coordination with user departments validate invoices. - Check and validate employee expenditures. - Help department in generating regular reports. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Accounting. - Minimum 8 years experience with oil company. - knowledge of Sun System is preferred. - Fluent in English. 11. Section Head Contract Specialist Location Khartoum Scope of work - Prepares tenders and administers all contracts. - Leads negotiations with vendors/ contractors to protect StarOil from unnecessary and unlimited risks and liabilities; Collaborates with different departments (drilling, operations, procurement, logistics, finance, etc) on various commercial issues/ matters to find resolution which maximizes the return to StarOil, while balancing commercial risk. - Acts as Secretary to the Limited Tender Committee. Minimum Requirements - BA in Business Administration, Legal, or Finance. - Minimum 12 years in oil company. - Strong negotiation and analytical skills. - Excellent verbal and written English language skills. 12. Document Controller Location Khartoum Scope of Work - Organizes and controls the document management system, and data room management. - Addresses data requests made by auditors and performs ad hoc financial duties. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in accounting. - Minimum 5 years of experience in document control. - Skilled in utilizing PC. - Fluency in English. 13. Internal Auditor Location Khartoum Scope of Work - Reviews and reports on the adequacy of business internal controls. Prepares an annual internal audit plan. - Coordinates the work of the external auditor and prepares reports on various aspects of financial management. - Ensures that systems are fit for purpose, and generate complete, accurate and reliable financial information. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in accounting. - Minimum 10 years of experience in internal auditing in oil company. - Skilled in utilizing PC software. - Fluency in English. 14. Section Head Geophysicist Location Khartoum Scope of work - Leads and coordinates all the geophysical activities of both Exploration and Development. - Interprets seismic lines and generates structural depth maps. - Generates the prospects and leads for both Exploration and Development departments, and generates the design of both 3D and 2D line for acquisition. - Drives delivery of the seismic acquisition and processing. - Prepares Tender Committee documents, contracting strategy and ITBs for seismic and geophysical studies. - Performs seismic inversion, and trains Junior Geophysicists. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in Geo-science. - Minimum 12 years experience in oil company. - Experience in Petrel, Geo frame. - Fluency in English. 15. Section Head Operation Geologist Location Khartoum Scope of work - Leads and coordinates Geological activities for both Exploration and Development staff in the field and at the base camp. - Prepares well schedules, and ensures the drilling/ logging of both exploration and development wells is in accordance with approved plans. - Prepares technical and geological reports in discovery/ field areas. - Follows up on the progress of wells, and generate the composite well-logs for exploration wells. - Follows up on the interpretation of well logs through coordination with the retro-physicist. - Trains junior ego-scientists. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in Geology. - Minimum 12 years experience in oil company. - Experience in PC, Petrel, Geo frame. - Fluency in English. 16. Senior Exploration Geologist Location Khartoum Scope of work - Prepares the correlation, and generates the facies maps. - Calculates the volumetric reserves, and prepares the exploration well proposal, the seal fault analysis, the structural restoration, and prepares presentations. - Follows up on all technical activities of the Exploration department at the office and well site. - Ranks the risk analysis of exploration wells. - Trains the junior geologist. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Geo-science. - Minimum 10 years experience in oil company. - Experience in Petrel, Geo-frame. - Fluency in English. 17. Junior Exploration Geologist Location Khartoum Scope of work - Follows up on daily Geological reports, and all field activities. - Coordinates the work plan with the well-site geologist. - Prepares the agenda for the daily meeting. - Follows up on the testing operation and prepares the testing sheet reports. - Utilizes technical geology software, and coordinates the archiving of Exploration Geology Section data and samples. Minimum Requirements - B. Sc. in Geology. - Minimum 3 years experience in oil. - Experience with a PC. - Fluency in English. 18. Well site Geologist (2 Positions) Location Field Scope of work - Supervises mud logging during the drilling of exploration and development wells (formation evaluation), and wire line logging. - Exercises document control over daily geological reports. - Controls the storage, and coordinates the dispatch, of samples from the well site to Khartoum. - Provides the geological superintendent, drilling supervisor and contractors with updates on the geological operations. - Supervises corn jobs, LWD, MWD, and prepares composite well-logs. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in Geology. - Minimum 6 years experience in oil company. - Experience with a PC. - Fluency in English. 19. Geological Superintenden Location Field Scope of work - Follows up on all geological operations related to the rig on site. - Provides all well site geologists with full data on the wells. - Arranges wire line logging and core jobs with the Contractor. - Checks and signs all contractor invoices. - Sends daily Geological reports to the Khartoum office. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Geology. - Minimum 10 years experience in oil company. - Experience in well site operations. - Fluency in English. 20. Work Over Engineer Location Field Scope of work - Supervise and follow work over and testing of wells. - Coordinates information exchange between the field and the office and service rig. - Write final work over reports. - Report to office daily activity and manage and coordinate material required for job. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Petroleum Engineering. - Minimum 8 years experience in oil company At least 5 years experience on work overs/ rig testing/ well completions/ testing. 21. Construction Engineer Location Field Scope of work - Prepare the well pad, and accent road. Utilizes knowledge of cad and other civil programs. - Performs soil testing. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Civil Engineering. - Minimum 7 years civil contract experience. - Hold a valid driving license. 22.Completion Engineer Location Field Scope of work - Works at one or more service & drilling rig. - Designs the well completion program. - Performs completion running procedures, and prepares budget and cost estimates. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Petroleum Engineering. - Minimum 5 years experience in similar job. - Minimum 2 years experience in running well completions. 23. Senior Logistic Office Location Khartoum Scope of work - Follow up and manage transport of material to site, coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth movement of material to different locations. - Collaborates with other departments to create effective logistics plans, and to facilitate their efficient implementation. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Admin/ Business or equivalent. - Minimum 8 years experience in planning/ supply/ logistic preferred in oil company. - Strong computer skills. 24. Senior Drilling Engineer Location Khartoum Scope of work - Plan and follow up all drilling and work over operations in accordance with approved programs and budget. - Ensures compliance with standards and procedures. - Resolve/ troubleshoot problems occurring during drilling/ testing operations. - Prepare drilling/ testing programs and compile and maintain a final drilling/ well report. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc in Petroleum Engineering. - Minimum 10 years experience in drilling, testing and work over operations. - Fluency in English. 25. Section Head Planning/ Engineering Location Khartoum Scope of work - Prepares and implements the annual Work Program & Budget of Projects/ Engineering Department. - Recommend new facilities to handle additional production. - Participate in developing conceptual designs, preparation and evaluation of ITBs. - Supervises/ leads engineers and technicians who monitor project implementation at site, and oversees project quality assurance. - Trains other engineers arid support staff. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in engineering. - Minimum 12 years experience in Oil Company. - PMP or MBA holder, and skilled in managing projects. - Fluency in English. 26. Senior Mechanical Engineer Location Khartoum Scope of work - Prepares detailed project scope of work related to mechanical engineering, Drafts budgets, and contracting strategies to attract bids to award contracts. - Reviews/ monitors project engineering deliverables related to mechanical engineering. - Manages engineers who are responsible for conducting the project engineering process. - Trains mechanical engineers. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 9 years experience in oil company (projects). - Experience in PC and technical software. - Fluency in English. 27. E&I Engineer Location Khartoum Scope of work - Supports the development of project scope of work related to E&l engineering. - Reviews/ monitors project engineering deliverables related to E&l engineering. - Supervise project implementation at site to oversee project quality assurance. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in E&l Engineering. - Minimum 8 years experience in E&l engineering within oil & gas. - Attendance at specialist courses in Control & Instrumentation Engineering and SCADA. - Fluency in English. 28. Process Engineer Location Khartoum Scope of work - Supports the development of project scope of work related to the design of processing equipment. - Reviews/ monitors project engineering deliverables related to process engineering. - Assesses the performance of the existing processing facilities and proposes enhancements. Minimum Requirements B.Sc. Chemical Engineering. - Minimum 9 years experience in process engineering. - knowledge/ experience in design of pressure vessels and tanks. - Fluency in English. 29. Civil Engineer Location Khartoum Scope of work - Supports the development of project scope of work. - Reviews/ monitors project engineering deliverables related to process engineering. - Assesses the project implementation at site to oversee project quality assurance. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. - Minimum 6 years experience in civil engineering within oil & gas. - Fluency in English. 30. Mechanical and Piping Engineer Location Khartoum Scope of Work - Supports the development of project scope of work related to Mechanical/ Pipe Engineering. - Reviews/ monitors project engineering deliverables related to Mechanical/ Pipe Engineering. - Assesses project implementation at site to oversee project quality assurance. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 6 years experience in Mechanical/ Pipe engineering within oil and gas. - Fluency in English. 31. Senior Planning Specialist Location Khartoum Scope of Work - Prepares detailed plans to accomplish Department goals and objectives. - Collaborates with other Departments to develop project cost estimates and schedules. - Assesses project implementation at site to oversee project quality assurance. Minimum Requirements - B.Sc. Admin/ Economics or equivalent. - Minimum 8 years experience in project planning within oil company. - Specialist courses in projects planning. - Fluency in English. 32. Base Camp Accountant (2 Positions) Location Field Scope of Work - Ensures business activities are reported completely, accurately and timely, and compliance with Corporate policies. - Manages the day to day accounting function and serves as a liaison between the field and Finance. - Maintains detailed records for all financial transactions at the base camp, e.g. the cash book. - Prepares expenditure reports debit notes and monthly bank reconciliations. Minimum Requirements - Degree in Accounting or Finance. - Minimum 8 Years accounting/ finance experience within oil and gas. - Fluency in English.
