A reputable consultancy firm is seeking qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacancy:
Job Title: Project Manager
Work Place: South Darfur - Nyala
Basic Function and Scope:
· Plan, manage, organize, direct and control multi discipline team to undertake the supervision monitoring of engineering design, construction1 commissioning, startup and closeout of the Project. And prepare for the warrantee period.
· Approach, economic viability timely, implementation in achieving all Project objectives (safety, schedule and quality targets). Manage all cross-functional and cross-departmental activities in Project Integrated Review (PIR), plan and facilitate the development of technology capabilities, skills knowledge level of subordinates.
· Provide the overall planning, framework and direction to effectively put in place the Project Plan (PEP), including overall project schedule, in time and cost effective conforming to requirements the Company’s established policies, procedures and standards.
· Enforce respective subcontractors, vendors and suppliers meet required technical specifications detailed design packages; fabrication; installation; hook-up and commissioning packages; and standard work processes, set policies, procedures and governmental regulations.
· Develop effective plan and strategy to formulate and manage the project execution and implementation from conceptual engineering until hand-over of facilities to meet client and project sponsor’s requirements.
· Manage, supervise, drive ,organize, direct and control the project Civil & structural Scope of Works and activities during the different project phases , namely , during the engineering design, construction , commissioning , handover, warranty and closeout of the projects whilst assuring quality and technically sound approach, economic viability and timely implementation in achieving all project objectives (safety, cost ,schedule and quality targets).
· Enforce, manage, 5upervise and monitor project’s respective subcontractors, vendors and suppliers to meet the required technical Specifications i.e. detailed design packages; fabrication; Installation hook-up and commissioning packages, and meets standard work processes, set policies, procedures and relevant regulations.
Qualification & Experience:
· Must have B.Sc. in Architecture or Civil Engineering with at least 15 years of work experience with minimum of 4- 5 years of supervisory experience.
